“It was always our dad’s dream to have a family-owned business,” explains Selena Rosete, daughter of Pro Tech Construction’s founder. And that dream has come to life — not just as a successful design-build construction company, but as a legacy of craftsmanship, dedication, and family values passed down through generations.

Where It All Began

The story of Pro Tech Construction begins nearly five decades ago in New Mexico. Anthony Rosete Sr., known by most as Tony, was a skilled fabricator and former iron worker with a vision for something more than just a job — he wanted to build a future. In the early years of his marriage to Loretta, Tony laid the foundation for what would become a family business that still thrives today.

Married for 48 years and proud parents of four, Tony and Loretta raised their family with a strong emphasis on integrity, work ethic, and unity. Even in those early days, Tony dreamed of one day working side-by-side with his children — a dream that started in New Mexico and took root across state lines as their lives evolved.

A Legacy That Lives On

Today, Tony (aka Anthony Sr.) is living that dream with three of his children — Anthony Jr., Selena, and Richard — helping run Pro Tech Construction alongside him. Based in Austin and Buda, Texas, as well as Rio Rancho, New Mexico, the family now works together as a team, providing top-quality construction and remodeling services to homeowners throughout both states.

Their path into the industry wasn’t accidental — it was woven into their childhood. Growing up, the Rosete kids spent their days on job sites, watching their dad lead projects with precision and pride. From swinging hammers to sweeping sawdust, they were hands-on from the start. Tony taught them not only the skills of the trade, but the deeper values behind it: honesty, hard work, and the satisfaction of doing things right the first time.

Building the Dream Team

Anthony Jr. was the first to join Tony in the business right out of high school, learning on the job and eventually managing crews and projects. Selena, who earned her business degree while raising her own family, later stepped in to help build out the operational side of the company. Richard, the youngest, rounded out the core team after high school, bringing energy, creativity, and technical knowledge to the mix.

Together, they’ve turned Pro Tech Construction into a modern, design-build powerhouse — one that blends decades of construction experience with a fresh perspective on service, systems, and innovation.

Over the years, the family team has expanded even more. Selena’s husband, Darrin and Anthony Jr.’s wife, Tianna, and, have also joined the company. Tianna plays a vital role in administrative operations and team coordination, while Darrin brings mechanical know-how and on-site muscle to the crew. Each member of the family brings unique strengths, perspectives, and personalities — all working toward the same goal.
